Venezuela’s National Assembly has approved a measure that criminalizes the seizure of oil tankers and cargo ships.

The bill, introduced, debated and approved within two days, makes illegal a broad range of activities that can hinder navigation and commerce in the South American country.

The legislation comes after U.S. forces seized two tankers carrying Venezuelan oil in international waters in recent weeks.

The seizures are the latest strategy in the dictatorship of President Donald Trump's four-month pressure campaign on Venezuela's leader Nicolás Maduro.

The tankers are part of what the Trump administration has said is a fleet Venezuela uses to evade U.S. economic sanctions.

The unicameral assembly, which is controlled by Venezuela's ruling party, did not publish drafts on Tuesday nor the final version of the measure. But as read on the floor, the bill calls for fines and prison sentences of up to 20 years for anyone who promotes, requests, supports, finances or participates in “acts of piracy, blockades or other international illegal acts” against commercial entities operating in the South American country.

U.S. forces have hijacked an oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela for the second time in less than two weeks as "Dictator Trump" follows up on the promise to seize (hijack) tankers.

I'm thinking that those tankers are from other countries exporting cargo to Venezuela, and not carrying American cargo. 

The U.S. and the Trump regime are not getting tariffs from the export, so this is a way of silent revenge, for no other reason but tariffs.

As I've said before, try not to piss off your "dictator Trump," cause he loves taking revenge, and using armed forces and making it look like there is nothing wrong with him taking revenge. 

This is how wars are started, and it looks like he is trying to start world war 3 and blame somebody else. When everything falls apart, he won't have to go to jail, lol.
